- “Other account” has ended its hide-and-seek game in the manual account setup. Peekaboo!
- Business search now respects your typing. No more vanishing acts when you hit enter.
- Our “Okay” button underwent a mood swing. Goodbye red-rage, hello green-zen.
- We wrestled the continuous logout monster to the ground. Enjoy interruption-free contemplation.
- MISSING_OR_INVALID_USERNAME got the pink slip. Security is relaxed.
- We escorted the grey screen out. No more uninvited color schemes.
- Couldn’t add decimals to transactions? Apologies to coffee lovers everywhere. Decimal precision: returned.
- And lastly, Merchant names aren’t the boss anymore. Now, it’s your call.

What’s new
- Featuring Highlights, Quick Add, and Calendar, our new bottom navigation helps you, well, navigate better.
- Our improved calendar is so smooth, you might wanna take it out on a date!
Sleeker transaction posts that expand with action buttons and a simplified daily view of your transactions make browsing through your calendar easier than ever. We also flipped the calendar to show your most recent transactions at the top, so you know you can be ‘on top of your finances’
- Add notes and attachments to pending transactions (available in some countries).
Bug Fixes:
A lot of performance improvements and some bug squashing.
Anyway, we’ve run out of updates (and funny things) to say. Till next time.

Introducing Wally 3.1! Our biggest update since… 3.0
This release was all about improving the general app experience and interface. Of course, some bugs were squashed along the way. Here are some of the changes you’ll enjoy:
INSIGHTS
∙ See this month’s current spending compared to last month in a line chart
∙ Primary chart is now an aggregated line chart of all your spending by category
∙ Select a category and see just that category’s spend
∙ Cleaner and tighter interface so you can see more without scrolling
∙ Choose between filtering accounts by their currency, or everything covered to any currency in the world
∙ New filtering options makes it easier and faster to filter your transactions
∙ Scroll across line and bar chart to highlight spending
CALENDAR
∙ Now you can filter transactions in the calendar by type, category, and tags.
∙ Search for transactions right from the calendar
∙ Sort your transactions alphabetically or by value
∙ Transaction posts are now smaller so you can see more without scrolling
∙ You can now expand transactions so you can peak at insights, edit faster, scan receipts, and a note.
∙ We improved how we clean the transaction description from synced bank accounts; now you can focus on the business without all that extra stuff (this is a continuous work in progress)
CURRENCY
∙ Now when you change your ‘home currency in settings, all your foreign accounts and transactions are converted
∙ From Insights you can now chose between converting all your transaction to a single currency or filter certain currencies.
BANK SYNCING
∙ Now get up-to 18 months of historic transactions for more banks
∙ See your bank’s logo on transaction and account details
∙ Improved business identification so you can track how much you spend at each business
OTHER
∙ Migration: Improved & killed bugs related to migrating from Wally Lite to Wally 3.0
∙ Bug Reporting: fixed the bug the crashed the bug reporting tool when you tried to report a bug
